Appbroda is looking for a Software Development and Test Engineer to develop, test, and maintain high-quality software products. The engineer will collaborate with principal engineers and product managers to deliver reliable technology solutions, take ownership of project delivery, write maintainable and unit-tested code, participate in code reviews, and help improve engineering standards. This role suits developers familiar with the MERN stack who enjoy solving complex problems in an agile environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum 2 years of software development experience in the MERN stack as specified in the original requirements
Knowledge of React for frontend development or Express.js, Node.js, and MongoDB for backend development
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
Knowledge of object-oriented programming and database fundamentals
Experience writing clean, maintainable, and unit-tested code
Understanding of code reviews and software quality practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to take ownership of projects and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
Good written and verbal communication skills
